The Prophetic Significance of the Trump In 2016

When the events of 9/11 took place, many viewed it as a deeply profound wake up call for this nation. There were many who saw the significance of the numbers connected with the date–9-1-1–as being a sign for emergency. There were many watchmen on.l the wall who had a deep sense that something was coming on the horizon prior to the events that would transpire. When the events of 9/11 unfolded, it thrust this nation into a war with terrorism which we have been fighting ever since. For fifteen years this nation has been engaged in a war against terror both at home and abroad with wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. We have been facing the ramifications of the events of 9/11 ever since then. Many viewed the events surrounding what date as such which have profoundly shaped the course of this nation. This coupled together with the economic collapse which would take place seven years later would serve as a deep and impactful wake up call for all within this nation. For years many have said that the events surrounding 9/11 served to wake and shake this nation from its lethargy and complacency.
The truth of the matter is that the events of 9/11 and the events surrounding the economic collapse have shaken a lot of individuals from that day until now. In recent days, we have come through perhaps the most divisive and controversial election this nation has ever faced. Never have there been so many controversies and personal attacks against both candidates as there was during this election. In what many perceived as a stunning upset in this election, a man by the name of Donald J. Trump won the election by a tremendous margin. The election of President Elect Trump has sparked a tremendous series of riots and protests, as many who are disgruntled and dismayed at the loss of their candidate have taken to the streets. What is so incredibly interesting about this election is how Donald Trump seemed to tap into the deep seated emotions of countless Americans. Trump successfully managed to tap into a powerful pool of frustration that has been present within this nation for years. What’s more, is that this election has removed a great divide that has been present within this generation for years. This Election has brought to light and exposed the use of false media and propaganda that has flooded and infiltrated the internet and social media for years. I am convinced that there was a tremendous prophetic significance surrounding this election, and even surrounding the very name of the candidate who won the presidential election.
I am presently reading a book by noted Christian author R.T. Kendall entitled “Preparing For the Midnight Cry”–a book that is based upon Jesus’ parable of the five wise and five foolish virgins who were found sleeping when the midnight cry was heard in the city. Upon reading this book, I am beginning to come to the realization that the midnight cry which is mentioned in Jesus’ parable might not be that moment when Jesus actually comes for His bride, but might actually be a prelude and precursor to His coming. The parable speaks of the kingdom of heaven being likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. Five of the virgins were wise, and five were foolish with the wise bringing oil along with their lamps, but the foolish having no oil with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, all the virgins–both the wise and the foolish–slumbered and slept. At midnight, a cry was made, saying, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him. It was at this juncture the five foolish virgins recognized that their lamps had gone out–both the wise and foolish rose up and trimmed their lamps at the sound of the bridegroom. When the five foolish virgins recognize their lamps had gone out, they implored the five wise virgins to give to them some of their oil. The parable goes on to describe how the five wise virgins could give them no oil for fear of their own lamps going out, and recommended the five foolish virgins going out and buying oil. While the five foolish virgins went out to buy oil, the bridegroom came, and the five wise virgins went in with him to the marriage with the door shut, while the five foolish virgins missing the appearance of the bridegroom.
Within this parable we notice the midnight cry of the bridegroom, but we also notice the actual appearing of the bridegroom. The two events seem to be separate without providing us any indication how much time passed between the departure of the five foolish virgins and the arrival of the bridegroom. What we do note, however, is that there appears to be a clear distinction and difference between the midnight cry, and the actual appearing of the bridegroom. It would appear that the midnight cry was released as a wake up call and an alarm to those who could hear it–a wake up call to prepare and ready themselves to meet the bridegroom. We must note and recognize that the bridegroom didn’t appear as soon as the cry was sounded, which suggests that the midnight cry was issued to call those present to prepare themselves to meet and join the bridegroom. Now, you might be asking how any of this has anything to do with this election, and even how it has anything to do with the one who was elected as President of the United States. To illustrate this point, it is necessary to focus on two specific verses in Scripture which help shed necessary light.
The first passage is found in the fifteenth chapter of the first epistle which the apostle Paul wrote to the Corinthians. In this epistle, the apostle writes these words–“NOw this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, AT THE LAST TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed” (1 Corinthians 15:50-52). The second verse is found in the fourth chapter of the apostle Paul’s first letter to the church in Thessalonica. “For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with Him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, AND WITH THE TRUMP OF GOD: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words” (1 Thessalonians 4:14-18).
Now, before you decide to brand me a heretic and before you think that because the last name of the President-Elect is “Trump” that I am suggesting he is the trump of God, and that which is referred to in Scripture, let me emphatically declare that I do not believe that he is the trump of God. What I do believe, however, is that his being elected to the office of President of the United States is both prophetic and divinely orchestrated by God. It has been said of President-Elect Donald J. Trump that he tapped into a frustration which had been looming in Americans for quite some time. It has been said that he garnered the vote of a large number of evangelical Christians, and even a great number of Jews as well. While he most certainly was unorthodox in his speeches and in his debates, I am convinced that it is no coincidence or accident that he was both the nominee for the Republican party, but ended up winning the Presidential election. The election of Donald J. Trump has torn a bandaid that for too long has been upon this country. The election of Donald J. Trump has exposed the false media and hyper propaganda news outlets and scam artists have been spoon feeding us for years. The election of Donald J. Trump has exposed and perhaps further confirmed a deep seated divide that has been in this country for decades–if not centuries.
This presidential campaign and election process has thrust this nation into a prolonged period of self-reflection, as we are forced to take a deep, long, hard look at ourselves, and who and what we have become as a nation. I am convinced that Donald J. Trump’s election as the President of the United States is prophetic and divine, because the Lord wants to wake us up once more. I do not believe it is any coincidence that his last name is Trump, and that he was elected as President of the United States in this particular election. In less than two years, the nation of Israel will celebrate seventy years in existence since being reborn as a nation within the earth. I have long felt that the year 2018 will carry with it tremendous significance, as that will be the year which marks the number seventy from the year of Israel’s rebirth. Between 2014 and 2015, there was a series of blood moons knows as a tetrad, which each time it appears, has a powerful connection to the nation of Israel. This year we witnessed the largest super moon since the nation of Israel was reborn in 1948. I even read something today concerning the appointment of a Christian man as ambassador to the nation of Israel, and being responsible for relocating the US embassy to the city of Jerusalem. There has been much speculation and talk about Donald J. Trump being a Godsend for the nation and people of Israel, and enhancing our relationship with the people of God. Moreover, I don’t believe that it’s any coincidence that this man was elected as President of the United States and will serve as President during that year Israel celebrates seventy years since being reborn.
I believe the Lord has raised up a “Trump”–yes, both literally and figuratively–in the earth. If you pay attention to the news, you will undoubtedly see how Trump’s election to the President of the United States has had a deep impact on world leaders around the globe–from Russia, to Israel, to China, and the like. While it is certainly unclear how and what Trump may actually do in office, I am convinced the Lord has raised up a “trump” in the earth as a play on words recorded in the Scripture–a trump that is meant to awaken a sleeping church. Part of his campaign was built on his being pro-life, and even having a strong opinion against the LGBT agenda that has become so pervasive within our country. I am without a doubt convinced the Lord has raised up a “Trump” in the earth to call not only this nation, but the nations of the earth back to God. Never has the election of one individual sparked so much controversy and conflict within this nation as the election of Donald J. Trump has. I don’t believe this is accidental or coincidental either. His election has served as a strong and powerful wake up call and alarm across a variety of industries–from Hollywood, to stadiums and arenas alike. I believe with all my heart that each and every saint of God needs to stand in the gap and intercede on behalf of this man, for this man has been raised up “for such a time as this.”
I believe that what we are witnessing in this nation surrounding this election–and even surrounding the Presidential Inauguration–is a powerful cry and wake-up call to nations across the globe. It is unclear what type of leader Trump may be, or even what he may do while in office, but I believe he deserves our prayer more than any other President since Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War crisis, George W. Bush and the attacks of 9/11, Harry S. Truman and the rebirth of the nation of Israel. I believe the Lord has indeed raised up a “Trump” in the earth as a prophetic sign that a “trump” is being sounded, and that we are nearing that moment when the final trumpet will sound. I believe that with the election of this Presidential candidate, there is a strong wake up call that is being issued to every man, woman, teenager, and child across this nation, and across this globe. I believe the Lord wants to ready and prepare us for that moment when the trump of God will sound, and that moment when the trumpet will be blown. We dare not, we cannot, and we must not take this election too lightly, and we must passionately pray and intercede for this man who has been elected as the next President. Let us pray that he restores ties and trust with the nation of Israel, and that he responds with great blessing of the nation of Israel, for the oath still stands–“I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you.” If Donald J. Trump will stand behind and support the nation of Israel, I am convinced the Lord will bless him with supernatural wisdom as He did Solomon when he became king of the nation of Israel. The Lord is preparing a people for the appearance of the Bridegroom, and we must be ready. The Lord is preparing something extraordinary surrounding the nation of Israel, and we must watch on with wise and discerning hearts. Let us pay close attention to the words of the apostle Paul to both the Corinthians and the Thessalonians, and let us pay attention to the message the Lord desires to speak, and is already speaking to us.
What’s more, is that it’s interesting how Donald J. Trump was elected to be the forty-fifth President of the United States considering he has been likened unto Cyrus king of Persia. IT’s worth noting that Cyrus is mentioned in a very specific chapter within the Old Testament prophetic book of Isaiah–the forty-fifth chapter. Consider what the Lord spoke concerning Cyrus: “Thus saith the Lord to His anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I have holden, to subdue nations before him; and I will loose the loins of kings, to open before him the two leaved gates; and the gates shall not be shut; I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron: and I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secrets places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by thy name, am the God of Israel. For Jacob my servant’s sake, and Israel mine elect, I have even called thee by thy name: I have surnamed thee, though thou hast not known me. I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I birdied thee, though thou hast not known me: that they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me” (Isaiah 45:1-6).
Cyrus king of Persia–you will recall–was that king who issued the decree permitting the Jewish people to return to their own land, and to rebuild the Jewish Temple. A “Trump” has been raised up after four-consecutive blood moons, after the largest super moon since the nation of Israel was reborn, less than two years before Israel celebrates seventy years of being a nation reborn, and was raised up to be the forty-fifth president of the united states. Let us watch closely to this “Trump.” Let us watch closely the nation of Israel. Let us watch closely the nation of Russia. Let us pay close attention to events which are rapidly unfolding in this generation. Let us ready and prepare ourselves, for the Lord has indeed raised up a “trump,” and has put a “Trump” in the most powerful house on the earth [outside of the house of the Lord], and in the most powerful position in the free world. The Lord has indeed raised up a “Trump,” and we had better listen to what the Spirit is speaking to the churches. Can you hear the wake up call that has been and is being sounded? Can you hear the alarm that is sounding? Can you see and understand the times and what ought to be done in this generation? Sons of Issachar rise up in this generation! Oh that a Daniel generation would rise up within this generation–a generation that sees and understands prophetically what is taking place, and what is yet to come! Let us prepare ourselves for the midnight cry, and let us be found watching, waiting and praying in this hour.
